This poster was developed to generate awareness for an academic writing competition. The client provided considerable flexibility regarding the creative direction, specifying the need for certain content to reflect the competition but leaving the imagery entirely to the designer’s discretion.
In the initial stages, I conceived an abstract design, ultimately opting for a predominantly monochromatic orange color palette with subtle blue accents for contrast. The client expressed approval of the abstract concept, leading to the production and distribution of the printed poster throughout the campus to promote the event.
The project was created using Adobe Illustrator and was printed on 11” x 17” paper.
